Tawny Ports are of two distinct types. The younger is usually called a "Fine Tawny". The other is called Aged Tawny. They are blended wines brought to maturity in wood for ten, twenty, thirty, sometimes forty years, depending on the characteristics of the young wine. It has to age to perfection.

Offley Tawny -
This is delicious, sweet, smooth and rich tawny with classic aromas of walnut, apricot/plum jam, coffee bean, dusty wood burlap, molasses and nougat. With an attractive red-tawny hue, typical of an older wine, this wine also has a delicate aroma reminiscent of ripe red fruit and enhanced by nutty notes that provide it with an added complexity.
